Texas death row inmate asks Supreme Court for stay over request for pastor to 'lay hands' during execution

A Texas death row inmate filed an emergency appeal with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on Tuesday, a day before his scheduled execution over a request to have his pastor pray aloud and touch him as he dies.
